Barracuda Families,

Tomorrow is the day! Barracuda Swim Team registration will open on Thursday, March 26^th an 12pm. A few friendly reminders below:

Registration: Registration open at 12pm on March 26 and closes April 26, 2026.

• Registration fees can be found HERE and include mandatory ASA league fees, a Barracuda team shirt, a Barracuda swim cap, and the Barracuda Banquet at the end of the season.
• Legacy Rule: The “legacy rule” allows select Barracuda alumni swimmers who are members of SCC to remain on the BWBC Barracudas. The qualifications are: SCC pool members who are 11 years of age or older on May 31st, 2026, AND have at least 4 years of history swimming with the Barracudas. If one swimmer in your family meets these qualifications, siblings are also allowed to join, allowing your family to be part of one swim team.
• Lil Cudas: Our Lil Cudas program is capped at 16 swimmers to ensure a safe a productive experience. For families who do not get a spot, our coaches will be offering private lessons this summer. We are also exploring other ways to include opportunities for children who are learning to swim. Stay tuned!

Important Volunteer Update: An expectation of being on the swim team is that every family volunteers for at least two shifts during the season, even if your child does not participate in meets. This year, when you register, you will be asked to sign this volunteer agreement. Families who do not fulfill this volunteer requirement will be invoiced $75 at the end of the season. Invoices must be paid in order to register your child for future Barracuda swim seasons.

Open House: Open House will be Sunday, March 29, 2026. This is a great time to meet our coaches, purchase team suits, and learn the ins and outs of being part of the Barracudas. Please see the schedule below:
