What a beautiful night for a meet! While we didn’t get the win (Echo Ridge - 403.83, Barracudas - 279.17) we had a lot of personal best times for our swimmers! Please read this long (but important!) email thoroughly.

Our season is flying by! We wanted to share details about a few fun end-of-season events we have on the horizon. Please pay extra attention RSVP deadlines below, especially regarding the ASA Championship Meet – this deadline is quickly approaching!!

Saturday, 6/20: Spa Day and Field Games

• Spa Hours: 10am - 11:30am @ BWBC Clubhouse
• Field Games: 11:30am - 12:30pm @ BWBC Field
• A Barracuda tradition! If your swimmer is looking for a bit of relaxation, they can make their way to the Barracuda Swimmer Spa, located in the clubhouse and open from 10am - 11:30am. Please bring a clean towel to rest on, a robe (if you have one!) to get cozy, your own hair brush, and prepare to be pampered with nail polish, hair-dos, lotions, and cucumber eye patches. All are welcome!
• If Spa Day isn’t your thing (or if you like to be pampered and then play hard!), we will also have coaches leading games in the field from 11:30am-12:30pm. Wear close toed shoes, dress to get wet, and don’t forget a water bottle!

Wednesday, 6/24: ASA Championship Meet @ GA Tech

• ASA hosts an optional championship meet at the end of the season at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center. This meet is open to any interested swimmer—you DO NOT have to qualify. The only requirement to participate is that you pay the registration fee. Our team is also required to fulfill volunteer roles; if your child is participating expect that you will also need to volunteer!
• Meet Time: 9:30am - 1pm (we usually have an early arrival time, around 7am)
• If your swimmer(s) would like to participate:
  • RSVP here by Friday, June 12th
  • Payment:
    • Families are invited to purchase an optional ASA t-shirt – a mock up is attached to this email. They feature shimmery silver ink – thank you to Lara Baldwin for the design! If you would like to purchase a shirt for yourself or your swimmer(s), this will be added to your ASA registration payment at a cost of $20/shirt.
    • Venmo @BWBC-guestfees: $50 ASA registration fee + t-shirt payment ($20/shirt) and include the note: ASA Fee for [swimmer(s) name]. Please list the youth and/or adult t-shirt sizes needed if you are purchasing shirts!
  • Your RSVP is not considered complete until payment has been received.
  • More detailed meet information, including parking and volunteer shifts, will be sent to participating families closer to the meet date.

Thursday, 6/25: Barracuda Banquet

• Time: 6-8pm @ BWBC Clubhouse
• A catered pasta buffet from Maggiano’s will be offered from 6-7pm, with the awards presentation starting at 7pm. Families are welcome to stay and swim at the conclusion of the celebration.
• RSVP required by Friday, 6/19/26. Please make sure to RSVP the total number of people from your family who are attending to ensure we have enough food for everyone!

Finally, we have our final home meet on Tuesday, June 16. Volunteer jobs are OPEN and swimmer RSVPs are due by Friday, 6/12. Please RSVP and sign up to help HERE.
